Chrysanthemum Pink Diadem

Commercial Potential of 'Rozheva Diadema'

Developed by the Pryluky Experimental Station (IS NAAS), the 'Rozheva Diadema' chrysanthemum is a prime example of Ukrainian breeding aimed at both commercial cut flower production and landscape design. Standing at a moderate height of 30–60 cm, this variety offers reliable performance for growers seeking a balance between aesthetic appeal and horticultural hardiness.

Practical Applications

• Commercial Cut Flower Production: The early blooming season (starting in September) allows growers to capture peak market demand before the onset of hard frosts. Its distinct petal-shaped inflorescence and delicate pink hue make it a versatile asset for florists creating late-summer and early-autumn arrangements.
• Landscape and Garden Decoration: Perfectly suited for open ground, this variety serves well in flower beds and landscape borders. With a flowering duration exceeding 40 days, it ensures long-lasting visual impact in public or private gardens.

Agrotechnical Considerations

Success with 'Rozheva Diadema' is highly dependent on sun exposure. To ensure the vibrancy of the petals and robust stem development, it must be planted in well-lit areas. While the variety exhibits moderate cold resistance, it remains a reliable perennial in the Ukrainian climate with minimal winter protection. By choosing this variety, producers benefit from a predictable growth cycle and high-quality blooms that maintain their commercial value for nearly a month and a half, making it an efficient choice for optimizing production schedules.
