Tulip Blushing Beauty

Technical Profile of Blushing Beauty

The Blushing Beauty tulip belongs to the Single Late class. Unlike early spring varieties, this cultivar demonstrates significant adaptation to the climatic stressors of the late season. Its high stem provides excellent flower architecture, making it suitable for both landscape design and professional cut flower production.

Biological Immunity and Phytosanitary Metrics

The key advantage of this hybrid is its breeding resistance to critical pathogens affecting bulbous crops. The engineering approach to the Blushing Beauty genotype has achieved high resistance levels against the following diseases:

• Verticillium and Fusarium wilt: The root system effectively resists soil-borne fungal infections, which is critical when growing in high-moisture conditions.
• Tobacco Mosaic Virus: The cultivar’s genetics inhibit the spread of viral agents, preserving the purity of petal coloration.
• Cladosporiosis: Both foliage and stems possess enhanced resistance to fungal infections, maintaining turgor and aesthetic appeal throughout the entire vegetation cycle.

Flowering Characteristics and Visual Architecture

The flower features a complex color transition: a dominant red base harmoniously combined with distinct salmon hues. This coloration, paired with its late flowering period, makes Blushing Beauty an essential tool for extending the decorative season. Due to its tall stem, it is recommended to select sites protected from strong winds to prevent mechanical damage to the peduncle.
