Chrysanthemum DIRECTOR Z.H. SHIGAPOV

Focus on Aesthetics and Durability: The «Direktor Z.H. Shigapov» Variety

For agricultural producers specializing in floriculture, choosing the «Direktor Z.H. Shigapov» chrysanthemum is a pragmatic decision for reliable cut flower production with predictable yields. Developed by the Ufa Research Center, this variety consistently produces marketable flowers in September, capturing the early autumn market demand when the need for high-quality bouquets peaks.

Agrotechnics and Field Performance

• Cutting and Logistics: With a medium-height stem (30-60 cm) and dense inflorescence, this variety is ideal for mono-bouquets and floral arrangements. The mid-sized flower (5-10 cm) offers an optimal balance of volume and weight, simplifying transport without compromising quality.
• Blooming Cycle: The vase life of this flower exceeds 40 days, providing a clear competitive edge for retail suppliers. Its early blooming period (September) minimizes exposure to hard frosts, as the variety possesses moderate cold resistance.
• Site Selection: This variety requires open, sunny locations. Proper sunlight is critical to maintaining the deep violet color; shade causes petal dullness and excessive stem elongation.

Beyond its use in professional cut flower production, «Direktor Z.H. Shigapov» is a proven asset for landscape design. It provides a stable visual impact for public parks and private gardens, requiring minimal maintenance provided that soil moisture is managed and the plants are sheltered from heavy shade.
