Blooming lasts about a month, starting in August-September and continuing until October. For planting Chrysanthemum Nocturne, it is recommended to use light, humus-rich soils with good drainage and neutral or slightly alkaline soil reactions. It is best to plant the plant on a cloudy day or during morning and evening hours in hot weather to avoid stress. The root system develops parallel to the soil surface, so the roots should not be buried too deeply. During growth and flowering, moderate watering with settled or rainwater is required, while avoiding over-wetting to prevent root rot. During dry periods, watering is increased to maintain decorativeness and prevent stem woodening. Tall varieties require additional support. Chrysanthemum Nocturne has good frost hardiness and can be grown in moderate climates without cover, but in regions with harsh winters, preparation for winter is recommended: the plant is pruned, dug up with an earthen lump, and stored in a cool, dark, and well-ventilated room at a temperature of +3...+8 °C, maintaining soil moisture. In spring, with the appearance of young shoots, the bushes are transferred to a warm place for further growth. Thanks to its resistance to diseases and pests, as well as drought resistance, the Nocturne variety is suitable for growing both in open ground and in unheated greenhouses, making it a universal choice for cut flower and ornamental cultivation.
