Chrysanthemum Yaroslavna

Reliability and Aesthetics: Growing «Yaroslavna» Chrysanthemums

For those seeking a dependable decorative feature for open ground, the «Yaroslavna» chrysanthemum, developed by the Botanical Garden-Institute FEB RAS, offers a unique blend of resilience and visual appeal. Unlike delicate imported hybrids, this variety is engineered for high performance in challenging climates, making its maintenance straightforward and predictable.

Cultivation and Performance

The medium-sized bush (30–60 cm) maintains its structure well throughout the season, eliminating the need for complex support systems. Its high frost resistance ensures that the root system remains viable even during severe temperature drops, reducing the need for intensive winter protection. This is a low-maintenance, high-reward plant that provides consistent results year after year.

• Blooming Schedule: Starts in September and extends for over 40 days, providing vibrant color through the late autumn season.
• Floral Specs: Features a striking purple dual-tone bloom with a petalous structure, ranging from 5 to 10 cm in diameter.
• Versatile Application: Equally effective for landscaping borders, garden decor, or as a cut flower for bouquets.

Daily care is minimal: simple watering and standard end-of-season preparation are sufficient. The «Yaroslavna» variety is designed for growers who prioritize efficiency and durability, allowing you to enjoy a professional-grade aesthetic without the high labor costs typically associated with ornamental gardening.
