Vienna Ball

Chrysanthemum variety 'Vienna Ball' is an elegant plant of Korean-Ukrainian selection, developed at the National Botanical Garden named after M. M. Grishka. The bushes are low-growing, reaching a height of about 45-50 cm, making them convenient for decorative purposes. The flowers are large, up to 10 cm in diameter, densely double with wide, plastically curved petals. At the beginning of flowering, the buds have a delicate pink hue, which gradually lightens to a cream-white color; under cool weather, the petals may slightly pinkish.

Flowering begins in September and continues until October, and under favorable conditions, it may last almost until December. The plant is resistant to low temperatures and winters well outdoors, allowing its use in various climatic zones, especially in the Forest Steppe and Polesie regions. Chrysanthemum 'Vienna Ball' is distinguished by its prolonged decorative period: the flowers retain their attractiveness for up to 30 days, and cut bouquets may remain fresh for up to 10 days.

This variety is ideal for creating autumn compositions in open ground and for growing in pots to decorate interiors. Thanks to its resilience and prolonged flowering, 'Vienna Ball' is an excellent choice for those who appreciate the beauty and longevity of autumn flowers.
