Kazakovskiy garlic is a winter garlic variety of medium maturity, distinguished by high yield and good frost hardiness. Plants reach a height of 80-100 cm, featuring erect dense leaves with a light waxy coating. Green leaves, about 50 cm long and 3.3 cm wide, promote active photosynthesis and bulb development. The variety has high adaptability and stable quality, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic zones and open plots. Kazakovskiy garlic bulbs have an oval or round-flat shape, weighing from 45 to 100 g, with a diameter of 5-6 cm. Each bulb contains 5-6 large cloves weighing up to 20 g, covered with a leathery brownish coating. Dry wrapper scales are colored in an attractive lilac-purple hue, while the creamy or white pulp is juicy and has a sharp taste with a characteristic persistent garlic aroma. Thanks to these qualities, the garlic retains freshness for up to 8-9 months, making it convenient for long-term storage and use in cooking. The Kazakovskiy variety is widely used in both agriculture and home gardening. It is suitable for preparing a variety of dishes and winter preserves, including salads and canning. The variety's yield is high - up to 35 centners of garlic can be harvested from one hectare, and the marketable bulb output reaches 90%. The garlic is characterized by stable yield and frost hardiness, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in personal subsidiary farms and commercial plantations.
