Marinated garlic "Diana" is a ready-to-use product that requires no additional culinary processing. The main ingredient is garlic scapes at 75%, supplemented with a marinade consisting of drinking water, vinegar, table salt, and sugar. To preserve freshness and extend shelf life, potassium sorbate, a preservative, is added to the composition. The product is packed in a tray weighing 450 grams, of which 250 grams is the main product. The recommended storage temperature range is from 0 °C to +6 °C, and the shelf life is 30 days. The "Diana" garlic variety was developed by the Siberian Institute of Plant Breeding and included in the State Register for cultivation in personal subsidiary farms. It is a mid-season bolting variety with a vegetative period from mass emergence to technical maturity of about 83-85 days. Leaves are dark green with a waxy coating of medium intensity, up to 50 cm long and 2.2 cm wide. The bulb is large, round-flat, and dense, with an average mass of 40-60 grams, reaching a maximum weight of 88 grams. Cloves are wide, numbering 5-6 pieces, with a simple structure. Wrapper scales are colored lilac-white with anthocyanin streaks, while leather scales have a purple hue. The flesh is white, with a sharp taste. The "Diana" variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and excellent preservation during warm storage — up to 85-87%, which is due to the high content of dry substances (39-41%) and dense wrapper scales that prevent bulb drying. The variety yield is about 0.6 kg per square meter. Thanks to its qualities and convenient packaging, marinated garlic "Diana" is an excellent choice for those who value natural taste and convenience in culinary use.
