Temporion cherry is a large-fruited mid-late variety developed in Ukraine by crossing the varieties Valeriy Chkalov, Solnechny Shar, and Droghana Yellow. Trees of this variety are fast-growing, strong, with medium-dense, spreading crowns, making them suitable for cultivation in various regions of the country. The recommended planting scheme for saplings on medium-stemmed rootstocks is 5x5 meters, which ensures optimal conditions for growth and fruiting.
The fruits of Temporion cherry are large, single, weighing 10 to 14 grams, oval-heart-shaped with a beautiful dark-red surface. The flesh is intensely red, dense, juicy, with a slightly fibrous texture. The taste of the fruits is sweet with a slight acidity, giving them high flavor quality. The variety is characterized by high fruit marketability and transportability, making it attractive for commercial cultivation.
Harvesting maturity occurs at the end of June to early July, allowing for a mid-late harvest. Temporion cherry has high cold resistance and resistance to major diseases, ensuring reliable fruiting and reducing the cost of plant protection. These characteristics make the variety especially valuable for cultivation under Ukrainian climate conditions.
