Description Rovesnitsa
This variety was obtained by crossing variety No. 11 x Shirkoprodchernaya. Originator — All-Russian Research Institute of Fruit Crop Selection. Authors: A.F. Kolesnikova, G.B. Zhdanova. Introduced into the State Register in 1986 for the Central Black Earth Region.
Tree of medium growth vigor, about 3 m tall, with an inverted pyramidal crown, raised, medium density. Branches medium, straight, brown. Bark on the trunk and main branches smooth, brown. Bud 4.0 mm, conical shape, slightly deviated from the branch. Leaf inversely egg-shaped, green. Leaves in the upper part of the branch are light green. Apex slightly pointed, base broadly wedge-shaped, double-tipped serrated. Leaf blade surface matte, leaf curved along the central vein. Stipules 2-4, located at the base of the leaf and on the petiole. Petiole 13.6 mm long, 1.9 mm thick, with anthocyanic coloration on 3/4 of its length. Number of flowers in inflorescence 4. Corolla diameter 21.5 mm, open. Petals white, touching each other. Stigma positioned relatively lower than stamens. Stigma length 5.3 mm, stamen length 6.3 mm. Calyx narrowly cup-shaped, strong serration of calyx lobes. Fruits set on cluster branches and last year's shoots.
Fruits weighing 3.0-3.6 g, round, height 13 mm, width 13 mm, thickness 13 mm. Fruit depression medium, apex rounded. Fruits dark red. Flesh red, firm, juice red. Pedicel length 28 mm. Pit round, mass 0.2 g, which constitutes 6% of fruit mass, yellow. Apex and base rounded. Pit separates easily from flesh.
Taste evaluation of fresh fruits 4.6 points. Fruit detachment from pedicel dry. Variety of universal use. Fruits contain dry soluble solids — 17.2-18.2%, sugars — 11.0-11.5%, acids — 1.25-1.41%.
Flowering in mid-season (May 17-22). Fruit ripening medium (July 12-15), simultaneous. Enters fruiting at 4 years. Self-fertile. Average yield 40 c/ha, maximum 64 c/ha. Moderate winter hardiness of tree and flower buds. Drought-tolerant. High field resistance to coccomyces, medium susceptibility to moniliosis.
