Daronok F1

Daronok F1 — a mid-season carrot hybrid combining the best qualities of Berlikum and Chantane types. The vegetation period ranges from 100 to 120 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The roots are cylindrical or conical with blunt or rounded tips, 16–25 cm long, smooth-surfaced, and vivid orange in color both in flesh and core. Due to high sugar and carotene content, the carrots have a sweet, juicy flavor, making them ideal for dietary and children's nutrition.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, as well as to adverse weather conditions and various soil types. The roots do not crack or turn green, ensuring excellent quality at harvest and long-term storage up to 8 months. Strong, robust foliage facilitates mechanical harvesting, and the planting density is 1 kg per square meter, yielding approximately 9 kg per square meter.

Daronok F1 is versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, processing into juices and purées, as well as canning and freezing. The roots are well-shaped and uniform in size, with a small core and resistance to mechanical damage. Due to these qualities, the hybrid is valued for both high product quality and stable yields under varying growing conditions.
