Ornamental cabbage PAVA is an annual plant that reaches a height of 25–35 cm and forms a rosette with a diameter of 30–35 cm. The plant's leaves have a rich green base with a dark red hue at the edges, giving the culture a bright and attractive appearance. Space is maintained between the leaves, so the rosette resembles a flower, making the cabbage an excellent decoration for the garden, especially in the autumn period.
Cabbage PAVA is distinguished by high frost resistance and can withstand temperatures down to -10°C, which allows it to be used for greening even during the cold season. The plant prefers sunny spots and moderate watering, and for growing seedlings, it is recommended to use a light soil rich in organic fertilizers. Sowing seeds is carried out at the end of March – beginning of April, planting 1–2 seeds in each pot and covering them with a layer of soil no more than 1 cm.
In addition to decorative qualities, the leaves of PAVA cabbage are suitable for use in cooking and are often used to garnish dishes. The bright coloration and original leaf shape make this plant universal for both garden design and gastronomic purposes.
