Cabbage UKZA

UKZA kohlrabi variety is a mid-early hybrid with a round stem fruit of dark purple color and white juicy flesh. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, leaves are of medium length, dark blue-green with a waxy bloom, having medium bubble-like texture and a weakly incised edge. The petiole ranges from short to medium length and medium thickness. The weight of one stem fruit ranges from 0.3 to 1.2 kg, while the taste is excellent, similar to the core of ordinary cabbage. Maturation occurs within 60-65 days after seedling transplanting. The UKZA F1 hybrid is characterized by high yield — from 1.9 to 7.2 kg per square meter, making it attractive for conveyor cultivation in open ground. The plant has strong and vigorous leaves, is resistant to major diseases, tolerates dense planting well, and requires regular watering. Due to uniform purple coloration and uniform stem fruit, the cabbage is easily harvested, transports well, and maintains an attractive appearance after cutting for a long time. The UKZA F1 variety is recommended for use in home cooking, where it is used both fresh and for baking. The cabbage is rich in vitamin C, making it beneficial for the heart and digestive system. Due to its excellent taste qualities and long shelf life, this hybrid is a universal and easy-to-grow product suitable for the new vegetable market.
