Feya

The kohlrabi variety 'Fey' is an early-maturing and high-yielding variety that reaches technical maturity 70-75 days after mass seedlings. The fruits are round, bright purple, medium-sized with a diameter of 6-7 cm and a weight of 200-500 grams. The cabbage flesh is white, tender, and juicy, with high sugar and vitamin content, ensuring excellent taste and commercial qualities.

The 'Fey' variety is characterized by uniform ripening and high resistance to heat, drought, and stress conditions, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The plant has a well-developed root system, which promotes good nutrition and growth. Cultivation can be done either as seedlings or direct sowing: seeds are sown in open ground at the end of May to early June, while seedlings are transplanted at the end of April to early May. To improve growing conditions, it is recommended to use cover materials such as agrofiber or plastic film.

The 'Fey' kohlrabi is widely used fresh in home cooking and also for processing, including freezing. The yield of this variety is 20-60 tons of marketable stalks per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Thanks to its nutritional properties and excellent taste, this variety is among the best kohlrabi varieties.
