Snowana

Snowana cabbage variety is an early-maturing type, suitable for spring-summer and summer-autumn cropping cycles. The period from mass germination to technical maturity is 70-75 days. The fruits are round in shape, medium size, weighing 300 to 500 grams and having a diameter of 6-7 cm. The fruit color is light green, the flesh is white, juicy, and tender, providing excellent market quality without fibrousness. Due to these characteristics, the Snowana variety is popular on the market for early produce.

The variety is distinguished by simultaneous ripening, heat resistance, and drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The yield of this variety ranges from 25 to 40 tons per hectare. The fruits are widely used both fresh and for processing, expanding their application possibilities in the food industry and household use.

For planting, it is recommended to use seedling method with 30-35-day-old seedlings or direct sowing. Seeds are sown in open ground at the end of May – beginning of June, while seedlings are transplanted into open ground at the end of April – beginning of May.
