Description Avangard
Avangard F1 — a late-maturing hybrid of cabbage, characterized by a long growing period from seedling planting to harvest, lasting 120-135 days. The heads are round in shape, dense and uniform, with an attractive grey-green color on the outer leaves and white flesh inside. The average head weight varies from 2.2 to 3.0 kg, with weights up to 5 kg possible. The stalk is of medium size, and the leaf rosette is elevated, which facilitates harvest collection. The leaves are powerful, of medium size, covered with a strong waxy coating, which ensures high resistance to pests such as aphids and thrips.

The Avangard F1 hybrid is characterized by high yield — from 7 to 9 kg per square meter, with the marketable product output reaching 94%. The cabbage has excellent taste qualities and is versatile in application, well-suited for long-term storage. The plant has a developed root system and responds positively to regulated watering and feeding, which contributes to a stable and high-quality harvest. High resistance to fusarium wilt makes this hybrid a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions and on different soil types.

Growing Avangard F1 cabbage is recommended both by seedling method and by direct sowing of seeds into open ground. Seeds are sown from mid-April to mid-May, with a sowing rate of 35-40 thousand plants per hectare. To accelerate ripening and obtain an earlier harvest, covering material or greenhouses can be used. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, the Avangard F1 hybrid is an excellent choice for farmers and gardeners seeking to obtain a high-quality and stable harvest of late cabbage.
