Description DOZHDIK
Buckwheat is a valuable grain crop widely used in the food industry and agriculture. It has an extended flowering period, which allows for several harvest waves. However, to ensure optimal harvesting, it is crucial to correctly determine the moment of desiccation, based on stem color: mature buckwheat has a red stem, while green indicates the need to wait. In case of rain and appearance of new flowers, it is recommended to assess the number of fresh flowers to avoid losses of already matured fruits. If desiccation is necessary, various agents are used, choosing between fast diquat and slower glyphosate, considering farm specifics and quality requirements. In agriculture, buckwheat is usually sown in early May, but weather conditions may shift sowing dates. For example, due to rains, sowing may start in June. For growing buckwheat, proven varieties are used, such as Arno, which shows good results in terms of yield. Modern machinery allows efficient field processing: operators can sow significant areas in a short time, which contributes to increased production of this crop. Additionally, buckwheat is widely used in the production of dry products, such as freeze-dried dishes. For example, a freeze-dried product with buckwheat and turkey contains natural ingredients: buckwheat flakes, boiled turkey fillet, stewed vegetables, and spices. Such a product is prepared quickly and conveniently — just pour the contents with boiling water, wait 10 minutes, and the dish is ready to eat. It has high nutritional value, contains proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, making it a useful and filling option for nutrition.
