Description Resonance
Resonance — a highly effective systemic-contact insecticide designed to combat a wide spectrum of sucking and leaf-feeding pests on various agricultural crops, such as winter cereals, corn, rape, potatoes, and sugar beets. The active ingredient of the preparation is chlorpyrifos at a concentration of 480 g/l, belonging to the class of organophosphorus compounds. The preparation is available in the form of concentrate emulsion and supplied in 10-liter cans. The mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of cholinesterase, leading to paralysis and death of insect pests.

One of the key advantages of Resonance is its high efficacy at low temperatures from +5 °C, as well as its acaricidal effect, which broadens the spectrum of action against pests. The preparation provides a long-lasting protective period — from 10 to 14 days — enabling reliable protection of crops against re-infestation. Additionally, Resonance does not exhibit phytotoxicity when applied according to the recommended guidelines, although it is highly toxic to beneficial insects and prohibited for use during crop flowering.

A distinctive feature of this insecticide is its registration for aerial application, making it a unique tool for treating corn fields in Ukraine. The dosage of the preparation varies depending on the crop: for rape — 1.0–1.5 l/ha, for potatoes — 2.0–2.5 l/ha, for corn — 1.5–2.0 l/ha. Resonance is characterized by rapid onset of action and effectiveness against pests with concealed developmental stages, ensuring reliable crop protection and contributing to ecosystem conservation.
