Winter barley variety Cinderella® is a high-yielding cereal crop intended for cultivation in Russia and Belarus. This variety is distinguished by its high winter hardiness, enabling it to successfully withstand harsh winter conditions, as well as drought and lodging resistance. Thanks to these qualities, Cinderella® ensures a stable and high yield, confirmed by results of state variety trials, where the average yield over the period 2006–2008 was 72.4 c/ha, and the maximum reached 110.7 c/ha. The variety is characterized by vigorous spring regrowth and early maturity, allowing harvest to begin approximately two weeks earlier compared to other cereal crops. The average 1000-seed mass is 46.6 grams, indicating good seed quality. The grain of Cinderella® contains 11.2% crude protein and 55.6% starch, making it suitable for use in the food industry, particularly for flour, bread, and other food products.
