MIP LEADER

MIP LEADER is a high-yield barley variety developed by the Myronivs'k Institute of Wheat named after V.M. Remesla, NAAN of Ukraine. It meets high standards of quality and efficiency in production, making it a popular choice for various crop rotation systems. The variety is characterized by a high yield potential, enabling stable and significant harvests even under unfavorable growing conditions.

This barley exhibits comprehensive resistance to major disease-causing pathogens, including fungal and seed-borne diseases, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. Additionally, the variety has high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and shattering, ensuring grain quality and ease of mechanized harvesting. Plants are medium-height, ranging from 75–85 cm, with a 1000-grain weight between 49.1–53.3 g.

MIP LEADER is a mid-late maturing variety, with heading and ripening occurring 3–5 days later than average-maturing varieties.
