Etiket

The spring barley variety Etiket has been known since 2006 and is registered in the State Register of Ukraine as a brewing variety. The plant reaches a height of 68 to 79 cm and forms a cylindrical ear with two rows of seeds, which are loosely arranged. The ear is distinguished by a strong waxy coating, and the grain has a yellow color, elliptical shape, and film-like structure. The thousand-grain weight ranges from 48 to 56 grams, indicating high-quality yield.

By biological characteristics, Etiket belongs to mid-early maturing hybrids with a vegetation period of 78 to 92 days. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under variable climate conditions. In addition, it exhibits above-average resistance to diseases and pests, reducing the risk of yield losses and minimizing the need for intensive plant protection.

Spring barley Etiket is widely used in the brewing industry due to its high-quality grain. Despite the challenges in cultivation technology and adverse weather conditions, this variety maintains stability and high productivity. Its genetic traits allow successful cultivation on large areas, ensuring a consistent and high-quality harvest.
