Description Esaul
The E-SAUL eggplant variety is a medium-late hybrid with a maturity period of 111 to 115 days, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The plant features a medium-sized, compact bush reaching a height of 60-70 cm. Fruits have a cylindrical, slightly curved shape with smooth dark violet, almost black skin and a weight ranging from 150 to 200 grams. The flesh is pale green, tender, and lacks bitterness, making them especially attractive for culinary use.

The E-SAUL hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching approximately 5.3 kg per square meter, along with excellent transportability and technological qualities. Thanks to these properties, the eggplants are suitable for all types of culinary processing and are especially recommended for baking. The absence of bitterness enhances their taste and expands their application possibilities in various dishes.

For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in mid-March and transplant seedlings into open ground from the end of May to early June. The optimal planting scheme is 60-65 cm between rows and 30-35 cm within a row. The best predecessors for this variety are gourd crops, legumes, and leafy greens, which contribute to obtaining a high-quality harvest.
