Veresneva is a popular annual plant, featuring a compact, upright bush reaching heights of 60–75 cm. The plant is characterized by its dense, slightly zigzag bush shape and resilience to adverse conditions.
The flowers are large, reaching a diameter of 8 to 12 cm. At the beginning of flowering, they have a white-pink-purple hue, gradually transitioning to a rich violet-lilac or pink-purple color. The diskheads are elegantly spirally twisted and form tubular structures around the central disk.
Flowering starts in mid-August and continues until cold weather, sometimes until September. Seeds are sown in March-April in a greenhouse or cold frame, after which seedlings grow and can be transplanted into the ground in April-May at temperatures of 18–21 °C. The plant is perfect for flower beds and group plantings thanks to its compactness and bright color palette.
