Aster Summer Night

A Reliable Perennial for Landscaping Projects

The 'Litnya nich' variety, developed by the Institute of Horticulture of the NAAS, is an ideal selection for long-term ornamental planting. As a perennial aster, this cultivar is designed for those seeking a low-maintenance solution that does not require annual replanting and survives seasonal temperature fluctuations in the open field.

Practical Application and Cultivation

The main strength of this variety is its winter hardiness. Professionals in horticulture and landscape design prioritize 'Litnya nich' for several key tasks:

• Installing durable borders and mass plantings that maintain consistent height and plant density year after year.
• Developing low-maintenance flower beds that remain established for multiple growing seasons.
• Creating visual contrast: the two-tone flower coloration serves as an effective accent in complex garden compositions.

For optimal performance, the crop requires standard preparation, including well-drained soil and adequate sun exposure. Maintenance is straightforward, involving routine post-blooming pruning and preparation for winter dormancy. Since it is bred specifically for the Ukrainian climate, the 'Litnya nich' aster demonstrates excellent survival rates and remains a productive perennial component in any professional planting scheme.
