The Astra variety Nochenka is an annual plant with dense, double clusters about 8-8.5 cm in diameter. The flowers have a dark violet hue with a yellow disk of tubular flowers; the ray florets are narrowly boat-shaped, rolled into tubes and curled inwards, giving the flowers a peony-like appearance. The clusters are flat-round, quite dense and attractive, making the variety in demand for cutting and flower garden design.
Nochenka bushes are compact, densely branched, and sturdy, reaching heights from 45 to 60 cm and a diameter of about 35-36 cm. Stems are dark anthocyan, foliated, providing good plant stability. The plant features a columnar bush shape and high branching, which promotes abundant flowering and ornamentality.
The variety is mid-season, with seedlings appearing about 12 days after sowing, and flowering beginning 120 days later, usually in late August, lasting about 33 days. Nochenka has resistance to fusarium, which enhances its reliability under various growing conditions. Due to its characteristics and decorative qualities, Astra Nochenka is an excellent choice for gardeners and florists.
