The 'Malinovy Sharyk' (Raspberry Ball) aster is a selection product developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. Unlike many modern, high-maintenance hybrids, this variety focuses on inherent resistance to diseases that often plague aster crops, most notably Fusarium wilt. This makes it a reliable choice for gardeners who prefer to avoid constant fungal treatments throughout the season.

Visual Impact and Dimensions

Classified as a pompon-type aster, this variety produces dense, neat spheres of deep violet, measuring 8–10 cm in diameter. The stems reach a height of 50–80 cm, making it tall enough to serve as a strong element in the mid-ground of a flower bed while maintaining a compact and tidy habit.
