SHAMOYA OLD CASTLE PYONIFLORA ASTER

Shamoya Old Castle Pyoniflora Aster is a tall annual plant with a powerful pyramidal bush reaching 60-70 cm in height. The flowers are large, about 10-12 cm in diameter, densely double-flowered with a peach hue, adorning the bushes from mid-July to September. The flowers are distinguished by exceptional density and strength, ensuring they remain unaffected by rain and retain freshness in floral arrangements. Bushes form up to 30-40 flower stems, allowing each plant to serve as a full bouquet, while slender and elastic stems make them ideal for floristic compositions.

This aster variety is unpretentious and suitable even for novice gardeners. Plants prefer sunny areas and open ground, where they create striking single plantings or decorate alpine slides. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds in seedling trays with prepared sterile soil, maintain optimal temperature and intense lighting. Seedlings are transplanted into open ground in May-June, after hardening and fertilizing the plants with mineral fertilizers during bud formation.

It is important to note that the Old Castle aster is susceptible to fusarium, so it is recommended to change the planting location annually. Plants withstand short-term frosts and do not require complex care. Thanks to their decorative qualities and high cut value, this variety is widely used both for landscape design and floristics.
