Astra Lady Coral Diamond Pink is a tall series of plants with a bush height of 60-70 cm and a regular pyramidal shape. Strong shoots support densely double spherical inflorescences with a diameter of 10-12 cm, which simultaneously resemble a rose and a chrysanthemum. A feature of this variety is the exceptional density of inflorescences, which gives the flowers an impressive and rich appearance.
Flowers of bright pink shade with a gloss at the tips of ray florets retain freshness and decorative qualities for a long time both in open ground and in a bouquet. Due to high resistance to fusarium and other adverse weather conditions, the astra Lady Coral is ideal for decorating suburban plots and professional growing for cut flowers.
For growing, it is recommended to use well-lit areas with fertile loamy or sandy loam soil. Seeds are sown for seedlings in March-April, pricked out when the first pair of true leaves appears according to the 5x5 cm scheme, and seedlings are planted in open ground from mid-May to early June. It is also possible to sow seeds directly into the ground in early spring or under winter with subsequent mulching. Astra is unpretentious in care and responds positively to fertilization, which contributes to its active growth and abundant flowering.
