Aster CAMELOT RED

Practical Application of 'Kamelot Red' in Landscaping

The 'Kamelot Red' perennial aster, developed by Association 'Biotechnika', is an ideal choice for gardeners and landscapers prioritizing both visual impact and long-term durability. Unlike annual varieties, this perennial successfully overwinters in the ground, providing a stable foundation for garden design year after year.

Key Use Cases

• Borders and Foreground Planting: With a compact height of 20–30 cm, this variety is perfect for edging garden paths or marking zones within flower beds. It maintains a neat, low profile that does not obstruct taller plants.
• Container Gardening: The ability of 'Kamelot Red' to thrive in pots and containers offers flexibility for patio and terrace design. You can easily relocate these 10–15 cm large-blooming plants to create seasonal focal points exactly where needed.
• Cut Flowers: Despite its modest stature, the substantial size of the flower head makes it an excellent candidate for miniature, high-impact floral arrangements.

The growth cycle from seeding to full bloom takes approximately 80–90 days. This timeline allows for precise management of greenhouse or outdoor planting schedules. Because the plant is winter-hardy, it significantly reduces the annual labor and financial costs associated with replacing ornamental plants.

Choosing genetics from 'Biotechnika' ensures consistency in bloom color and plant structure. For optimal results, provide adequate lighting and consistent moisture. 'Kamelot Red' provides a professional-grade solution for low-maintenance, high-aesthetic gardening, ensuring that vibrant red hues remain a fixture in your landscape design season after season.
