Aster MORNING MIST ASTER

Technical Profile of the Annual Aster

The 'Utrenyaya Dymka' cultivar is a result of advanced breeding work conducted by the I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Center, involving experts O.A. Karpov and B.A. Kuzichev. Developed under the aegis of the 'Russian Seeds' research and production firm, this variety is engineered to excel within the specific agricultural conditions of its origin.

Construction and Functional Specifications

• Life Cycle: A strictly annual species. The plant is not winter-hardy, meaning the entire biological cycle—from seed germination to flower production—is compressed into a single growing season.
• Morphological Design: The cultivar is optimized for high-density flowering. Its structural architecture is specifically suited for landscape applications where uniform growth patterns are required.
• Practical Application: The plant's geometry is perfect for creating dense garden borders and mass floral arrangements. Its ability to maintain a consistent canopy makes it a reliable choice for professional landscaping.

From a technical standpoint, the seeds demonstrate high germination energy due to rigorous parent-line selection and quality control protocols established by the originators. The stability of the phenotype is a product of multi-stage testing for variety purity. When cultivating this aster, it is critical to note that its lack of winter hardiness necessitates a well-drained, nutrient-rich substrate. By focusing on soil aeration and site selection, growers can maximize the decorative impact of the plants, ensuring a uniform and aesthetically robust display throughout the season.
