Description Zoryanii
The 'Zoryanyy' apricot variety is a high-yielding columnar type with a compact tree reaching 2-3 meters in height, making harvesting easy without ladders. The tree has a narrow crown and a strong trunk, and it begins fruiting early, starting to bear fruit from the 2nd or 3rd year after planting. This variety is self-fertile, grows well, and produces fruit even when planted alone, making it convenient for cultivation both in private gardens and on an industrial scale.

The 'Zoryanyy' fruits are large, weighing from 40-60 g to 100 g, with a beautiful golden hue and a pinkish blush on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is a rich yellow color, medium-firm, juicy, and sweet with a pleasant flavor. The stone is small and easily separates from the flesh, facilitating use both fresh and for processing. Harvesting occurs in mid-August, corresponding to a late ripening period.

The variety is characterized by high cold resistance, tolerating temperatures down to –30 °С, as well as resistance to major diseases and pests, including spot disease, moniliosis, Valsa fungus, bacterial spot, verticillium wilt, and cytosporosis. The 'Zoryanyy' apricot is low-maintenance, but for optimal yields, all flower buds should be removed in the first year, and subsequent years should involve pruning of upper and lateral branches. Regular, moderate watering is essential to avoid both drought and root rot.
