Apple BLAGODATNOYE RING APPLE

Reliability first: an apple variety for temperate climates

The «Blagodatnoye Koltso» variety, developed by the Michurin Federal Research Center, is the answer for growers seeking a balance between low-maintenance cultivation and consistent yields. Unlike many introduced hybrids that require delicate handling, this variety shows high adaptability to the climatic stresses typical of the region.

What sets it apart?

The core feature of «Blagodatnoye Koltso» lies in its resistance to common fungal diseases and its tendency for annual bearing. While many modern varieties exhibit «biennial bearing» (resting every other year), this variety, with proper agronomic care, provides predictable results. The fruits offer a balanced flavor profile, making them ideal both for fresh consumption and long-term storage.

Pros and cons

• Strengths: High winter hardiness, resistance to scab, consistent yield, and good shelf life.
• Considerations: Requires proper pruning for crown formation; otherwise, excessive branching density may negatively affect fruit size.

This variety is an optimal choice for orchards where reliability is prioritized, minimizing the need for intensive fungicide applications.
