Anemone – a perennial herbaceous plant of the Ranunculaceae family, known for its fairy-tale beauty and lace-like foliage. In our climatic zone, more than one hundred and fifty species of anemones grow, varying in height from 10–15 cm to 100–140 cm depending on the species and variety.
Anemone flowers possess a rich spectrum of shades: from delicate pastel tones to bright saturated colors. Some species bloom in early spring, while others – from mid-summer to late autumn, which allows using them in garden compositions year-round.
Anemones can be rhizomatous and tuberous, ensuring a variety of plant forms and sizes. Their leaves are usually elegant and slightly lace-like, giving plants a special charm. Due to resilience to various climatic conditions, anemone becomes a popular choice for decorative greening in open ground.
