ROZYNOE SVETLANKA

The plum hybrid "Rozyne Svetlanka" is a large-fruited variety bred in Russia and first appeared in Crimea. The tree is of medium height (up to 3 m) with an oval, spreading crown and medium planting density. Fruits weigh between 50 and 70 grams, are round-oval in shape, colored yellow with a blush, and covered with a thin waxy bloom, ensuring good storage and transportation.

The variety is characterized by moderate frost resistance and drought tolerance. It begins bearing fruit 4–5 years after planting, with the first abundant harvests appearing in 3–4 years. Blooming occurs in mid-May, while fruit ripening starts in early August and continues until early September. The flesh is juicy, honey-sweet with a sweet-sour taste, containing pectin, mineral salts, and a full complex of vitamins.

For optimal development, "Rozyne Svetlanka" requires annual pruning, although the plant does not need frequent interventions. It withstands severe frosts, drought, and is undemanding in care. Seedlings are grown according to strict nursery rules and protected from pests, guaranteeing high-quality planting material. Fruits maintain freshness when stored in a cool place and are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
