The 'Feeria' pear variety is the result of a selection program conducted in 2004 by scientists at the Institute of Genetics and Selection of Fruit Plants named after I.V. Michurin. The parent forms were Talgar Beauty and Daughter of Dawn, which allowed for the development of a fruit with distinctive characteristics.
'Feeria' fruits are large, weighing from 125 to 215 grams, with a smooth surface and a slightly oily texture, though this feature is barely noticeable when eaten. Initially green, they turn amber with a faint raspberry hue upon ripening; during storage, they may develop a light burgundy color.
The fruit features juicy white flesh of medium density, a slightly oily texture, and a pleasant aroma. The taste combines sweetness with a slight astringency, which is appreciated by tasters – with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5. The skin is dark red with a burgundy-violet covering, smooth but with a waxy coating, which requires some effort to remove from the fruit.
'Feeria' is distinguished by its high yield and good storability, resistance to diseases and abiotic factors. The variety withstands low temperatures down to –15 °C, has excellent transportability, and maintains quality during long-term storage.
