Description MUSOON
Musoon is a medium-early variety of spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) intended for grain and fodder use. The plant is characterized by medium height and a short stem resistant to lodging. The ear is cylindrical, loose, and has a distinct waxy coating. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 35 to 44 grams, and the protein content is 11.7-12.2%. The variety belongs to the nudans group and has medium drought resistance, however, it is susceptible to helminthosporiosis. It is recommended for cultivation in the first zone of the Khabarovsk region.
