The Brabvel apple variety is a medium-sized tree with a dense vertical crown and medium straight brown shoots covered with dense pubescence. The leaves of this variety are egg-shaped, short-tipped, green, smooth, and matte. The variety was bred in Crimea and is intended for growing in regions with a moderate climate, in particular, recommended for the North Caucasus region, but has low frost resistance, withstanding temperatures up to -30°C. Brabvel apples differ in large size, weighing about 160 grams, sometimes reaching 180 grams. Apples have a correct egg shape with a greenish-yellow base color and a brownish-red covering covering most of the fruit. The flesh is cream-colored, juicy and cracking, has a sour-sweet taste, which received a high tasting score from 4.5 to 4.8 points. The variety belongs to winter in terms of consumption, which allows storing fruits for a long time. The yield of the Brabvel variety is high, which makes it attractive for gardeners interested in obtaining high-quality and tasty apples with a long storage period. Due to its characteristics, this variety is suitable for growing in regions with mild winters, where it will be able to show its best qualities and ensure a stable fruit harvest.
