Winter wheat variety Kievlyanka is a medium-maturing, medium-stemmed, intensive-type variety with high adaptability to drought-prone growing conditions. This variety is distinguished by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, ensuring stable and high yields on various types of mineral nutrition. Kievlyanka is characterized by resistance to kernel shattering, moderate resistance to lodging, and resistance to diseases such as powdery mildew, rust, and root rot.

The grain quality of the Kievlyanka variety is high: protein content ranges from 13.5% to 14.7%, crude gluten content — from 28.7% to 31.5%. Dough strength falls within the range of 320–410 arbitrary units, providing excellent baking properties. The loaf volume from 100 grams of flour reaches 1100–1210 mL, and the overall baking quality score is from 4.2 to 5.0 points. Due to these characteristics, this variety is widely used for producing high-quality flour and bakery products.

Recommended preceding crops for planting Kievlyanka include peas, corn, winter and spring rapeseed, soybeans. The yield of this variety reaches 11 tons per hectare, making it a high-yielding choice for various growing regions. For seed storage, it is recommended to maintain temperature within +7–10°C and humidity no higher than 10%. Seed packaging is typically done in 1000 kg bags.
