Soft winter wheat ETYUD® is a high-quality variety of grain wheat intended for flour and bakery product production. This variety is distinguished by stable yield, good winter hardiness, and adaptation to various climatic conditions, making it universal for cultivation in different regions. ETYUD possesses good baking qualities, confirmed by high protein content (14-16%) and gluten (not less than 26%).
The plant is characterized by short height (about 66 cm), early maturity, and resistance to lodging, which facilitates care and reduces crop losses. The ear is cone-shaped, 7-8 cm long, and the weight of 1000 grains varies from 39 to 51 grams. The variety has genetic resistance to main diseases such as brown rust and powdery mildew, as well as to shattering. Drought resistance of the variety is at the level of the Don 107 variety, which allows successful cultivation in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones.
To achieve maximum yield, early sowing with a sowing rate of about 6 million grains per hectare and a seed burial depth of 3-4 cm is recommended. ETYUD wheat responds well to foliar fertilization with micro-fertilizers and also requires treatment with insecticides and fungicides for protection against pests and diseases. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the North-Western and North-Eastern zones of the Rostov and Volgograd regions.
