Juicy Slice is an early watermelon variety with sugary yellow flesh, possessing a rich watermelon aroma and flavor with notes of tropical fruits. The fruits of this variety are oval-shaped, almost seedless, and reach a mass of about 3 kg. The ripening period is 72-87 days, which allows for a quick harvest. Juicy Slice is suitable for growing in open ground in the middle belt and the south of Russia. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in late April, while transplanting into the ground should be done in late May or early June, when the seedlings reach an age of 30-35 days. For optimal growth, the plants are tied to a trellis up to 50 cm high, all side shoots are removed, and subsequent ones are pinched above the 1-3 leaf. It is also possible to grow the watermelon horizontally, which ensures convenience in care and harvest collection.
