For optimal growth, the plants are tied to a trellis, side shoots are removed, and the tops are pinched above the 1-3 leaf, or they are grown on the ground.

The fruits of the Watermelon Lunniy variety retain their taste and commercial qualities for 30 days with proper storage in cool conditions. The yield is from 1.5 to 2 kg per square meter.
