The vegetative period is 70-90 days after germination. Sowing for seedlings is recommended to be carried out in late April, and transplanting into the ground — in late May or early June, when the plants reach an age of 30-35 days. For optimal growth, the plants are tied to a trellis, side shoots are removed, and the tops are pinched above the 1-3 leaf, or they are grown on the ground.

The fruits of the Watermelon Lunar variety retain their taste and commercial qualities for 30 days with proper storage in cool conditions. The yield is from 1.5 to 2 kg per square meter.
