The Turkish melon F1 is a mid-early hybrid of the Crimson Sweet type, intended for cultivation in open ground during the main season. The maturation period is 60-65 days, which allows for a harvest in relatively short time. The plant is powerful with high growth strength and has good resistance to sunburn, which contributes to preserving the quality of the fruits. The hybrid is undemanding in care and shows good results when using grafting, which additionally increases its productivity.

The Turkish melon fruits have an oval-round shape and differ in high uniformity. The mass of each fruit varies from 9 to 12 kg, making them sufficiently large and attractive for consumers. The 2-2.5 cm thick rind with a clear boundary separates the flesh of a rich red color, which differs in juiciness and sweetness under any growing conditions. Thanks to the dense flesh, the fruits long retain their market qualities, which allows storing them without loss of taste and aroma both in the field on the root and after harvesting.

The Turkish melon F1 has good transportability, which makes it convenient for transport over long distances. The recommended planting density of seedlings is 6-7 thousand plants per hectare, and with the use of grafting - about 3 thousand plants per hectare. The seeds are small, brown in color with a characteristic pattern in the form of dots and spots. This hybrid is resistant to main diseases, which ensures a stable yield and high quality of fruits.
