Fruits of the Ekinoks watermelon have oval-round shape and dark green rind with characteristic stripes. Average fruit weight ranges from 9 to 12 kilograms, indicating high marketability and yield. Flesh is deep-red, crisp, juicy, and very sweet with sugar content up to 13 °Bx. Seeds are small and few, enhancing consumption convenience. The hybrid exhibits continuous fruiting, ensuring gradual harvest and staged product realization.
The variety shows high resistance to diseases, including resistance to root rot (Co:1) and fusarium (Fon:1), as well as good transportability and storability. For successful cultivation, seeds should be sown in soil preheated to +14…+16°C, following planting scheme of 70-100 cm between plants and 1.2-1.5 m between rows.
