Tavriyskyi

The Tavriyskyi watermelon variety is medium-early and characterized by high productivity. From germination to ripening, it takes 85-95 days, allowing cultivation both in open ground and under plastic cover. This variety adapts well to various conditions, including dry ones, and shows disease resistance, contributing to a stable yield.

The fruits of the Tavriyskyi watermelon are round and weigh between 4 to 7 kilograms. The skin is light green with dark, irregular stripes, dense and of optimal thickness, ensuring good transportability and long storage life. The flesh inside is bright red, tender, juicy, rich in vitamins, and sweet. The seeds are small.

For planting the Tavriyskyi watermelon, soil should be warmed to 12-13°C at a depth of 10-12 cm. Seeds are sown at a depth of 4-7 cm. Various planting schemes can be used, including row planting with row spacing of 1.4-2.8 meters and intra-row spacing of 0.5-2 meters, as well as square or rectangular schemes. This approach ensures optimal growing conditions for plants.
