RIVER SIDE

The plant is a vine with a long main vine and a medium-sized green leaf blade featuring strong laceration and weak wrinkling. The fruits of this variety have an elongated or elliptical shape with dark green rind and wide dark green stripes. The average weight of the watermelons varies from 8 to 14 kg, and the rind has a medium thickness, ensuring good fruit protection.

The flesh of the River Side watermelon is characterized by a rich dark red or pinkish-red color, a firm structure, and a very sweet taste. The seeds are large, brown in color with a characteristic pattern of dots and spots. This hybrid boasts high yield and a powerful root system, which promotes good plant nutrition and allows for cultivation without the need for drip irrigation. Crop yield of marketable fruits with drip irrigation reaches 5.3 kg per square meter.
