Watermelon PAMIAT KHOLODOVA MELON

Proven selection for stable harvests

The 'Pamyat Kholodova' watermelon is a flagship variety developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing. It represents years of rigorous selection designed to perform reliably under varying climatic conditions, making it a cornerstone for growers who prioritize consistent fruit weight and disease resistance.

Agronomic performance

This mid-season variety matures in 90 to 100 days. The plants are robust and exhibit strong field resistance to fusarium wilt and anthracnose, significantly reducing the necessity for intensive fungicide programs. Its natural resilience makes it an excellent choice for both open-field commercial production and private gardening.

Fruit quality and market value

• Fruit Size: The variety is known for large, impressive fruits weighing between 10 and 15 kg, meeting the high market demand for substantial produce.
• Shape and Flesh: The fruits feature a classic round or slightly elongated shape. Upon slicing, they reveal a striking purple-pink flesh that is both visually appealing and flavorful.
• Durability: The fruit's skin and internal structure provide good transportability and shelf life, essential for post-harvest logistics.

'Pamyat Kholodova' stands out as a reliable variety that balances high agricultural efficiency with excellent marketability, continuing a long tradition of high-quality Russian breeding.
