Triumph F1 Watermelon is a high-yielding mid-late season hybrid of oval shape, developed by the Italian breeding company Sais. The fruits of this variety are characterized by their large size, with an average weight ranging from 11 to 15 kg. The rind of the watermelon is light green with darker shiny stripes, while the flesh has a rich dark red (raspberry) hue. The taste of the flesh is intensely sweet, aromatic and crisp, making this variety particularly appealing to consumers.

The plant is characterized by a strong root system and developed leaf mass, which effectively protects the fruits from sunburn. Triumph F1 Watermelon is well adapted to various climatic conditions, including temperature fluctuations, allowing it to be successfully grown in both southern and central regions. The maturation period is 92-95 days from the appearance of mass seedlings, making it a mid-late season hybrid.

In addition, the variety has high resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and fusarium wilt, which contributes to the preservation of the harvest. Triumph F1 Watermelon is ideal for growing in open ground, quickly developing a sturdy stem and large leaves. Thanks to the medium thickness of the rind and good transportability, the fruits maintain freshness and an attractive appearance during transport and storage. The yield of this hybrid reaches 80 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity and economic efficiency.
