MONASTYRSKY PLUS — a domestic medium-late watermelon variety, created by selection from an old folk-bred variety. Fruits ripen 82-88 days after germination, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The main vine of the plant is of medium length, which facilitates cultivation and care of the crop.

Watermelons of this variety differ in striped round shape with a mass from 2.4 to 7.0 kg. The rind is not thick, and the flesh is red and of medium density, providing a pleasant texture upon consumption. The dry matter content varies from 7.9 to 9.0%, while the total sugar level is 6.1-7.6%, making the taste of the watermelon excellent and sweet.

The MONASTYRSKY PLUS variety possesses high resistance to a complex of diseases, including powdery mildew, anthracnose, and fusarium, as well as tolerance to environmental stress conditions. It stably yields even with minimal irrigation. Fruits maintain their commercial qualities for 90-100 days after harvesting, making the variety transportable and convenient for storage and marketing.
