Watermelon BLAGODATNY

Blagodatny watermelon is a mid-season or mid-late variety, maturing 71 to 91 days after germination. The plant is vining with gray-green leaves, and the fruits are round or spherical with dark green or narrow, weakly prickly stripes. The fruit weight ranges from 3.8 to 14 kg, making them medium-sized. The rind is flexible and sturdy, reaching up to 1.5 cm in thickness, providing good protection during transport and storage. The flesh is bright pink, granular, juicy, and sweet, making this variety particularly attractive to consumers. The seeds are large and brown. Blagodatny is resistant to diseases such as powdery mildew and fusarium, as well as drought-resistant, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions. The yield of marketable fruits reaches 160-401 centners per hectare, and the fruits retain their marketable qualities for 30-35 days after harvest. The Blagodatny variety is well-suited for growing both in open ground and for seedling production due to its high germination rate and disease resistance. Its flexible and sturdy rind ensures good transportability, while its moderate storage life allows for storing fruits for some time without quality loss. This watermelon is an excellent choice for those who appreciate a combination of taste qualities, resistance to adverse conditions, and high yield.
