Description Businka
The Businka cherry variety is distinguished by large, round fruits with a glossy dark red skin, almost black in color. The berries are of medium size, weighing 3.5-4 grams, juicy and aromatic, with a sour-sweet taste and refreshing acidity. The fruits contain a high amount of sugar and vitamin C, which makes them an excellent choice for both fresh consumption and processing into compotes and preserves. The variety matures in mid-July, allowing you to harvest at medium ripening dates. The tree is semi-dwarf, about 2.5-3 meters tall, with a lush panicle crown. The variety is self-fertile, which facilitates its cultivation and ensures stable yields of up to 11 kg from one tree. Businka is characterized by high winter hardiness, tolerating temperatures down to -33 degrees, and resistance to fungal diseases, in particular coccomycosis, while requiring prophylactic treatments for protection against moniliosis and other diseases. Due to its unpretentiousness, the variety grows well on various types of soils, including black soil, loams, and gray forest soil. High yields and excellent taste qualities make cherry Businka a popular choice among gardeners. It is suitable for growing in different climatic conditions and can be used both for fresh consumption and for canning. Thanks to its decorative qualities during fruiting, the tree looks very effective, as if decorated with a garland of bright berries, which adds aesthetic value to the garden.
